About Maison Klara
Maison Klara is born from passion, memory, and a deep love for jewelry.
Founded by Louisabelle Clara Labbé, a lifelong jewelry enthusiast and entrepreneur, Maison Klara is the continuation of a journey that began long before its official launch.
In December 2021, in the heart of my hometown in Haiti, I launched my very first business: Clara’s Jewelry. Business has always brought me joy — a kind of joy that feels like creating something magical and sharing it with the world. Even as a child, I was business-oriented; I would light up at the idea of building something from scratch.
One of my earliest memories is of my mother gifting me beads and tiny furniture for jewelry making. Those simple gifts became treasures — tools I used to create little pieces of love for my mom, my sister, and myself. Jewelry quickly became a language of affection and self-expression.
By 2021, I decided to turn this joyful hobby into something more. I began crafting pieces to sell, offering custom designs to clients who reached out to me privately. My very first customers were my friends, family, teachers, and classmates from my beloved school. Slowly, my little business began to bloom. I was creating with love — and people felt it.
Clara’s Jewelry thrived for a year and a half. When I made the decision to move to Canada, I closed my shop — but not my heart. Here, my loved ones often encouraged me to reignite the spark. At first, I hesitated. I was in a new place, starting from zero. But as time passed, I began to miss it — the creativity, the conversations, the glow in a customer’s eyes when they found their piece.
